Every Sunday children of Trinity come together at 8:45 a.m. for a weekly class designed to further their Christian education and development. The program is divided into classes based on the age of the child. Lessons art taught by use of arts and crafts, Bible readings, and worksheets by our staff. During the time of the Sunday School program adults are invited to join an adult Bible study led by the Pastor held in the sanctuary.
Sunday School was first organized in January 1919 by Reverend Martin O. Mueller, but was held as early as 1916 as one large class. Prior to 1916 Sunday School was in German and held after the singing of the hymn after the sermon. From 1916 to 1924, the Sunday School was held before the regular services. From 1924 to 1936, it was held after the regular services, with the children divided into separate classes by age. In 1937, a Bible Class was introduced for adult members of the congregation. The Sunday School classes were held on one side of the church while Bible class met on the other. After the new church was built in 1949, Sunday School classes have been, and continue to be, held in the basement with Bible classes taught by the Pastor in the Sanctuary.
Today the program continues to provide excellence in Christian education.
